Regarding the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary.

I am grateful that we can come together at this time, when so many are hurting, to pray for strength, peace, and comfort. I can't imagine what they are going through to lose someone to violence, especially children.

Our children go off to school everyday, we believe they are being kept safe only to have something like this happen.

Volunteers!

GRATEFUL today for volunteers like those who are helping on the East coast after Sandy left her mark. Especially for volunteers like MaryBeth, the young blind girl who is on Staten Island with her seeing eye dog, doing all she can to show her support for those affected! Always do what you can for others. Never underestimate the power of YOU!

Yep! Coffee! That is it!

I woke up today as grateful as I could be!! Grateful for my health, grateful to be alive!! Each day I wake up with that particular thought of gratitude on my mind! And today was no different in that respect! I was grateful as soon as I woke up, for so many things, not just being alive and healthy! But then……I wanted coffee! As I listened to the storm outside; the thought of me curled up on the couch with a book and a cup of hot coffee was more temptation than I could resist!

Granted today has just begun, I know by this evening when I lay my head down to rest, I will probably have many other things that I will be grateful for….but for now………

It is coffee! Once I smelled it brewing I knew I was grateful today for coffee and just had to tell YOU!
